Public Diplomacy - Capacity-building University Support Project

1. Project introduction:

- According to the Public Diplomacy Act (16.8 into force), the International Foundation (KF) is designated as a "Public Diplomacy Promotion Agency", which has the obligation to educate, consult and promote public diplomacy activities of the promotion agency.

- To expand public diplomacy education within the university, cultivate public diplomacy experts, expand related research, and improve the public diplomacy awareness and understanding of college students, select pilot universities and offer regular courses/K-MOOC courses and related projects to support operations.

1.1 Contents of the Korea Foundation (KF) support

- Support for opening/expansion of public diplomacy regular courses

- Support for operating expenses related to public diplomacy

- Support for visits and field trips to KF Global Center

- Support for dispatching KF employees and instructors

2. Project content:

- 1st semester regular lecture: [INT4008] Public diplomacy theory and practice

- 2nd semester regular lecture: [INT4015] Public Diplomacy Seminar

- Field trips in the form of lectures

- Implementation of Public Diplomacy Supporters

3. Wonju City Public Diplomacy Support

- Wonju City was selected as the " The UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN)" to operate the "Wonju City Public Diplomacy Supporter" in cooperation with the Wonju City Creative City Team.

- Upload the development activities and related policies of the Wonju UNESCO Creative Cities Network to SNS

- After the event, the winners will be awarded with an excellent certificate in the name of the person in charge of the local government

- A certificate of supporter activity issued by Wonju is issued to all participants
